Lights

I am so sad that Christmas time is already over, but the holidays and winter aren't!  I am soon going to be taking down the tree, garland, stockings and the lights on the house.
I have left the tree up longer than normal this year and it's getting to the point that I may just leave it there until next Christmas.
It provides great lighting!

I am so sad to see our lights go.  I am enjoying them for the time being before the guys take them down and put them in their storage until they come back to see us next year.
(Sorry for the double vision in the pics.  We had just had the "Christmas Eve Blizzard of '09 and these photos were taken through the window, before the dogs ruffed up the beautiful, perfect snow.)

I am also sad that the snow is melting away and that the dogs thought they should leave no drift of snow untouched.
This is limiting our snow-coke supply.
If you haven't tried these, do it now.
Do it now before the snow makes like "Frosty"
"...and he waved goodbye, saying don't you cry.
I'll be back again some day."
Though here in Oklahoma, we don't know when that will be.

I hope that you have a wonderful New Year!
Now I am off to eat one black-eyed pea for good luck.
